Looking for a qualified Plasterer? You're in the right place! I'm Trev Hawkins, I've been plastering for nearly 30 years. I trained under Pete Holden in 1994, where I got my NVQs level 2 and 3 in solid and fibrous plastering. This enables me to be able to not only work on modern plastering techniques but also traditional lime methods.

Since starting my business in 1994 I have undertook hundreds of different jobs of different skill levels. I pride myself on having a open honest company that gives the best advice for your plastering situation. I am based in salisbury but I cover most of Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset so don't hesitate to get in touch.

Services offered

My work is guaranteed for 5 years from the completion date. I am also fully insured.

Artex 

This is put on ceilings when the customer is looking for a textured finish.

Coving 

These are the boarders that go around edges of rooms to hide the wall/ceiling join.

Hardwall

Hardwall is a background plaster. Normally you would skim a finish over it (also known as float and set) This is the most used method for solid walls.

Plasterboard repairs

This can be used to repair water-damage, or if you have moved lights, sockets, switches and are wanting to cover the gaps.

Drywall

Drywall Installation

This is when someone wants plasterboard put up and joints taped and filled. This is used to save time on drying.

Rendering

This is for outside jobs. 

Lime plastering

This is generally used on listed buildings. It's more labour intensive and time consuming as it needs to be done in 3 coats, with atleast 5 days between coats.

Bonding

Goes on uneven plasterboard or uneven concrete. It's then skimmed smooth after.

Reskimming

This is when a wall is not suitable for painting due to little blemishes.

Setting

This is done over hardwall or plasterboard.
